It may happen when the Jeep "walks" an upsweep of rock to Chicken Point. It may happen during the steep but smooth ride down the "Road of No Return". But sooner or later your thoughts will stray from the beauty of the surroundings, drift away from your guide's informational talk, and suddenly you realize there is a lot more to this Pink Jeep than meets the eye.

Pink Jeep Tours has a commitment to you to provide the safest, most comfortable, and enjoyable vehicle for your Jeep tour.

When it comes to the design, construction, maintenance, and all around safety of our 65 Jeep fleet, turn to our own Pink Jeep Service Center in Sedona.

Every guide is assigned his or her own vehicle. This allows the guide to become very familiar with the vehicle's idiosyncrasies.

Every Pink Jeep starts its day with a twenty-point inspection. After inspection sheets are turned in, the fleet manager reviews the information.

Any potential problems are handed to the service manager, and then work orders are assigned to the technicians. The service manager completes all follow up to assure the job was completed. Additionally, to meet or exceed our record of safety and security, each and every Pink Jeep is on a stringent preventative maintenance schedule. Every 30 days, each Jeep is pulled "off line" and goes though a rigorous 55-point inspection and regular servicing. Nothing is left to chance!

The Pink Jeep Conversion

The conversion from stock Jeep to a rolling Pink Jeep takes about 5 weeks.

The conversion begins at the Service Center where the roof/roll cage and seating system is fabricated and fit to each jeep.

Then it's off to the paint shop. After a 3-stage coat of premium PPG paint (gorgeous pink), it returns to the Service Center for upholstery.

Right now your comfort is the name of the game; seats are built with ultra high-density foam, and then covered with marine quality vinyl.

Suspension modification is next on the agenda. Our Jeeps are specially modified to handle all of our trails safely and aggressively, in any weather, carrying any load. Pink Jeeps are outfitted with state of the art suspension systems, lifted 4" to 6" over stock, and then equipped with components supplied by the "best of the best" in the off-road world. The short list includes, RUBICON EXPRESS, TERAFLEX, ARB USA, and FABTECH. Some finishing touches include cryogenically treated brake components from CRYOGENICS INTERNATIONAL.

Cryogenic brakes provide incredible durability, long life, and most important, incredible stopping power.

Jeep, MOPAR parts are used extensively throughout the fabrication and maintenance of our fleet, 4 WHEEL DRIVE HARDWARE is a chief source for many of the hard to find and/or discontinued items we need to keep the fleet maintained at our level of excellence.

Finally all Sedona Pink Jeep vehicles are provided with tires from GOODYEAR TIRE AND RUBBER COMPANY, this tire is the premium off-road Goodyear Wrangler MT/R. Goodyear and Pink Jeep Tours have had a partnership on our trails for years.

The Pink Jeep you will be touring in is the product of almost 50 years of innovation, with your safety, guide safety, and a healthy concern for the environment in mind.
